The Hilton Kingston poolside was transformed on Saturday night, January 31, 2009, when Island Couture unveiled the latest designs of local designers from the Jamaica Fashion and Apparel Cluster.
Saint International models strut the catwalk showcasing sophisticated looks by Barry Moncrieffe, HOT swimwear from Blaazin Designs and funky urban couture from Yaad Trendz. REVE startled the audience with their high fashion, hand crafted, one-of-a-kind jewellery, and all of this was accented by the fabulous creations of Cinderella Hats.
When we thought the evening could not possibly get better, the beautiful and talented Tessanne Chin strut her stuff in a dress by Yaad Trenz and mesmerized the audience with her sultry voice and catchy lyrics.
Island Couture is a monthly fashion show at the Hilton Kingston, poolside, held every last Saturday. Geared towards promoting Brand Jamaica, Island Couture is a part of Jamaica Night at the Hilton Kingston featuring Jamaican food, culture, art, fashion and music.
