ELEVEN Jamaican scholarship winners last week began their Chinese odyssey, registering with several top universities scattered across the vast expanse that is this Far Eastern country.
They represent the largest group of scholarship winners to make the annual trek, as China opens up its arms to Jamaicans seeking higher education, and strategically place themselves in a position to take advantage of that country's upstoppable rise to world economic power.
